Former Maine Governor to keynote Chamber's 155th Annual Community Leadership Awards Dinner
The Portland Regional Chamber is pleased to announce that former Maine Governor, Angus S. King Jr. (1995-2003) will keynote the 155th Annual Dinner and Community Leadership Awards sponsored by MEMIC. The event will be held at 5 P.M. tonight at the Holiday Inn By the Bay in Portland.
Along with Governor King’s address, the 2009 Community Leadership Award Recipients will also be honored.
The following are the 2009 Award winners:
Henri A. Benoit Award for Leadership in the Private Sector: Barber Foods
Neal W. Allen Award for Leadership in the Public Sector: James I. Cohen, Verrill Dana, LLP
Robert R. Masterson Award for Leadership in Economic Development: Disability RMS
President’s Award: Mark Doiron, Hannaford Bros Co.
The Annual Dinner is attended by well over 600 Chamber members, including the region’s most influential business and government leaders. It is dedicated to honoring the award recipients for their leadership.
