Barber Foods has been awarded the SQF 2000 Code certification. SQF means Safe Quality Foods. SQF Certification provides an independent and external validation that a product complies with international, regulatory and other specified standards and enables a food supplier to give assurances that foods has been produced, prepared and handled according to the highest possible Quality and Food Safety standards.

The SQF program is owned by the Food Marketing Institute (FMI). SQF 2000 Code is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative as conforming to the highest international standards and utilizes protocols administered by International Accreditation Forum member Accreditation Bodies.

The SQF program has been implemented by over 5000 companies operating in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, United States, Europe and South America.

"SQF complements well our HACCP (Hazard Analyses Critical Control Point) program and other USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) regulatory programs. Our certification is a testament to our unwavering focus on safety and quality." remarked Lloyd Hutchinson, Director of Quality Assurance.
