Asparagus Gratin

Ingredients

  • 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 ounces grated parmesan
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly oil a shallow gratin dish or coat with nonstick spray.
  2. Stir in butter, garlic, oregano, parsley, basil, salt and pepper. Toss with asparagus to coat.
  3. Place into gratin pan and roast for 10 - 12 minutes, or until tender but crisp. Top with cheeses and bake for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until melted.
  4. Serve immediately.
